| I have worked as a freelance photographer since my arrival in Olympia four years ago from Alaska. I was employed as a corporate photographer prior to accepting a teaching position at Centralia High School in Centralia, Washington five years ago. I have taught photography at the University of Alaska and at The Evergreen State College. I also currently teach night classes at South Puget Sound Community College on basic camera handling. Born and raised in Indiana, I moved to Alaska in 1975 and taught high school photography there for 18 years. My nature and wildlife scenics and my writings have been published by Alaska Geographic, The Alaska Fisherman's Journal and Pacific Fishing magazine. As a commercial photographer I have worked with private individuals, corporate clients and the states of Alaska and Washington. |

| My nature and wildlife photography is inspired by Ansel Adams and Paul Caponigro. Robert Glenn Ketchum has also provoked me to do more and more work that benefits the environment and the planet. As a result, 10% of all print sales from this site are donated to The Nature Conservancy. Anything we can do to protect our natural beauty and mute residents in this day and age is well worth the effort. | |||||||||||||||
