The images in this portfolio were created on speculation at the request of the Montana Nature Conservancy for potential publication to help promote their efforts as part of the "Blackfoot Challenge," a collaboration of many individuals, businesses and organizations dedicated to preserving and managing the Blackfoot River watershed.
Greg Neudecker of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service was instrumental in sending me in the right direction within the valley. The individuals and citizens of Orvando were extremely helpful in showing me sights that I otherwise would have missed, and providing me with convincing information that the Blackfoot Challenge is a unique and valuable program.
