Upon moving to Olympia, Washington from Alaska in 1998, we were delighted to find the state capitol city was thoroughly decorated with a multitude of flowers. From crocuses and tulips in the early spring, to rhododendrons and azalias in early summer, to lilies and dahlias toward fall, the gardens, lawns and streets of Olympia are filled with color nine months of the year.

Even after several years and thousands of images, we still discover with each shoot how the quiet, intimate world of flowers offers insight into the contemplative side of life.. Our thanks to the vendors of
Olympia's Farmers' Market for their generosity in allowing us to photograph many of these natural jewels.

This
portfolio is one of our most extensive, containing over 50 species in colors that span the rainbow. Please inquire if you don't see a variety or hue that meets your needs. We're sure to have what you're looking for!
